“DAKITI”, about to reach the #1 position on global charts just 5 days after its release

by avenuepop

Last Friday October 30th came full of new music releases, mainly by latin artists.
Becky G. and Ozuna gave light to their first single together, “No Drama”, The Black Eyed
Peas released their fourth latin music collab, “Shake ya Boom Boom”, this time along with
Static & Ben L; and Jhay Cortez, along with everyone’s favourite Puerto Rican, came up with
“Dakiti”.

The single has the essence of both artists and a slow but strong beat that has gotten stuck in
the brains of everyone who has listened to it, not to mention the lyrics. Four simple lines
build its chorus, so simple that just by listening to it twice you will have already learned it.
Basically, Dakiti has everything a song might need to become a hit nowadays: the stars, the
moody vibes, and the catchy lyrics; and the result is that in just 5 days, the song has reached
the #2 position on Spotify global chart.
The #1 position is now occupied by Ariana Grande’s Positions (did you see the joke there?)
and while it is clear that the pop superstar clearly deserves such ranking, it might be snatched
by the latin duo soon.
Just 600k reproductions separate one from the other as of now, and as “Positions” initial
excitement slowly fades away while “Dakiti” is still on it, Bad Bunny’s hit may get above it.
The previous #1 hit, “Mood” by 24kGoldn and iann dior stayed as the most streamed song of
the world for over two weeks, and is now in the bronze step as the songs mentioned above
have taken its lead and run past it.
Will “Dakiti” reach out the top of the chart by the end of this week? Our bet is that it will!
